"CONQUEST" DICE

Way back in the 1970s there was a charming and very original board game called "Conquest - the Strategy Game of Dice".

This was not a game of chance as you might expect from the dice in the title, but a very cleverly-designed game of skill
where the dice were the pieces, and you had to tumble them about on the board in a three-dimensional rolling style,
capturing your opponent's pieces while your opponent tried to capture yours.

The game has now vanished from the toy-shop shelves, although it surfaced briefly again under the bizarre name of
"The George versus Mildred Dice Game" and then was never seen again.
